We are located in Sumter County on Route 44 between Leesburg and Wildwood, Florida. There you will find your home away from home. Rails End is a co-op, owned and managed by the residents with a presiding board of directors.

Our quiet, 106 site, park is situated in a quiet country setting making for a relaxed, fun loving atmosphere. We are located in an area surrounded by beautiful lakes, perfect for boating and fishing enthusiasts. There are many flea markets, antique malls, shopping centers and social activities in the nearby area. Disney, Universal, Sea World, and Busch Gardens are just an hours drive away.

Located near Route 75 and the Florida Turnpike you will have easy access to all the areas attractions in Central Florida. We are close to Silver Springs, home of the famous glass bottom boats and well known entertainers performing weekly. A one-time pass will get you access year-round.

This active adult community has water aerobics, ice cream socials, coffee hours, hot breakfasts, pot luck dinners and many organized evening games (bingo, euchre and poker). There are organized trips, luncheons, and outings for all to enjoy. We have over 25 golf clubs in the surrounding area and many of our residents enjoy our frequent group outings. We have a heated pool, horseshoes and shuffleboard.

Our caboose doubles as our on site library and provides plenty of recycled reading material for our residents. We have on site laundry facilities, outside area for hanging out clothes and private showers.

Management provides holiday dinners and cookouts. We have trash pick up twice a week, wireless internet services, and on site water and sewer.

We are a pet friendly park. Pets are limited to one per unit and must be less than 15 inches in height. All dogs must be leashed at all times and walked in the pet walking area.
